My daughter's favourite pre-school teacher is going on leave next week to have her first baby, and I quilted like a mad woman to have this finished in time. (It ended up only taking me two days from start to finish!)

I improvised the piecing, backed it with an old cotton sheet I found at St Vinnie's, and it has a lovely soft cotton batting in the middle. I quilted it using random diagonal lines with my walking foot and self-bound the edges with the backing fabric (cheating, I know, but it works for me!).

I actually think this is my favourite quilt yet. Really found my mojo with this one.

Love to know what you all think!

This only took you two days?? Impressive! She's going to love it--and if she doesn't, I'd be more than happy to take it off of her hands! Grin

I love the way you kept the scrappy theme with the quilting!  Awesome.

This looks great! It reminds me that I still have a scrap I need to work on. The top looks like some modern art from the 90's, and I mean that as a compliment. Wink
