So I have made a hoodie in the past but thought sewing clothing isn`t my strongest talent - so I gave it up. But than I found this great tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=270983.0 and since I had the perfect fabric for it, I gave it a second chance - and I`m lovin it!

I even made my own binding for the part where the head comes thru.

Comments & critizisms are highly appreciated! Thanks for looking!  Cheesy

Thank you!  Grin

You HAVE to give it a try - I was intimidated by the thought of sewing with jersey-fabric, but it wasn`t half as hard as I`d thought.

I love tops like that!  There is just something about off one shoulder necklines that I love.

That's lovely!  And congratulations on the binding, I've heard that's hard.  How did you find it?

Thanks!

Actually, I didn`t find it hard at all. I made a long strip of fabric ( I didn`t even meisure it, just thought "eh, that`s enough" Cheesy ), folded it in half, ironed, opened it an foldet each halfs again to the fold (that sounds strange, doesn`t it?), ironed again and than folded it once again, so I had a nice crisp strap without any fringing parts.

After that, I pinned it to the shirt all the way around (user A LOT of pins there) and sewed it down. I liked it and it actually was a lot of fun to do.

I`m running to the fabric store right now to get some more jersey for more of these shirts. I`m so in love with the style.  Cheesy
