so, I am alternating between pissed off, and super sad that my packages haven't arrived in New Zealand.  I am in the process of redoing the second package, and should have it sent off within a couple of days.

I will also work to recreate a first package as best I can and hope to get it sent off within a week or so.

I will also be ordering bubblegum_phoenix a little treat from amazon for all of her amazing patience.  Smiley

is it apple cider? lol
Im just gutted that I cant show off your awesomeness tlh878! We all work so hard on our packages and its always annoying when our partner doesnt show them off! But Ill never say no to more prezzys  Grin lol
Sinellia your an egg lol, apple cidar is yummy though, Wish they sold it here!

Ok, now I did have pics taken the day I recieved but everything else kind of caught up with me.
But they are here now...

this is obviously after Id opened the box, there were no customs stickers or anything explaining what the hold up was so Ive still no idea why it took almost 3 months to get from Canada to NZ

a beautiful friend card. Ive a thing about textures and this card feels awesome under my fingers

this stunning scarf! tlh878 isnt new to knitting, she learnt as a kid, but didnt keep it up so is a wee bit rusty. The scarfs made from a really soft kind of yarn and is squishy and lovely. Im thinking of making it like a shawl pin because the usual way I wear scarves (scrunched up) would ruin it. I love and and wanted to wear it out last night to my mates memorial (killed in the Pike River Mine blast) but its kind of Summer here  Cheesy

Item two was photos that I didnt manage to get pics of! But from them I worked out her display pic is one she had taken at her sisters wedding with blonde and pink hair! (at least, thats what it looks like) Im hoping to pick up a scrap book or photo albulm so I can keep the photos safely  Smiley

Item 3 was a book and bookmark. Ive not started it yet, Ive been tempted to put down the book Im reading now (a really rubbishy sci-fi one) but its next on my reading list. The book marks quote is awesome and so very true!

Postcards! I have a fondness for postcards. These will def go in the scrap book or whatever with the photos

Buttons! Also pictured is tlh878s major achievement  Wink the buttons are her fav craft supply and a fav jewlery item. Which is awesome. They are really cute! and the political one is from when she was seeking nomination for the New Democratic Party!!  Shocked how awesome is that!

making greeting cards is tlh878s fav way to relax, what an awesome idea! She is really talented too! They are all really textured and I dont want to give them away  Cheesy they might make their way into the scrap book as well  Tongue

Pillow! Related to her fav sport- soccer (or football) its felt and squishy and Im really glad going through the wash didnt ruin it! Ive got it on my armchair and its really comfy! plus, it has a bonus point of having no pink on it so my cat Ceefer wont steal it!

her sister always makes her laugh and it was her that made this next item. Its supposed to be a coffee cozie but tlh878s sister didnt gauge it first and it came out a tiddy bit large lol  Cheesy it says "hot" in binary code  Wink

this bag is huge! tlh878 doesnt like the plastic bags from the supermarket so she always trys to remember to bring her own bags. If they are all this size...! wowsers  Cheesy

this last item has an awesome quote on it "well behaved women seldom make history" and its so true. Its up on my wall now, looking beautiful.

Thankyou so much for everything tlh878. Ill have your second package on its way to you after Christmas. Im sorry the NZ Post kept it for so long!

Aw yay I'm glad you got it and like it!!! It took forever to do, and I had so much trouble with it, but I just had a feeling the design was what you'd like. I'm in love with the lining fabric too - might just have to make myself one too!

great packages! I love the coffee cozy, and I wish I could sew one tenth as well as browndog!

I've received my second package from soxymoron! Yay!
She took my love for Star Trek and swear words and made me this T-Shirt:

with lots of velcro letters for everything I want to make clear I'm not!
Thank you, sox, I love it!
Now if only the UK post would finally deliver yours!

oh ok... goldsheepbowl feel free to post better one when you take em...

i sent my excellent swap partner a tote bag

double handled.  short ones for carrying heavy loads as well as a long strap to go over the body for lighter loads.
and it was full of made in canada munchies...

going off her favourite colours and colour combinations i made this quilt (oh franssons new wave pattern)

i dont have a good pic of this quilt.  nor do i have close ups of the fabric nor the backing (it is glittery and cool) Wink

but i love the way it came out!
