So I got bored and decided that I'd make my old Doors band shirt into a pair of panties. Yeah, I know, I know... But it was better than ripping apart my Superman boxers, since she's not a fan... LOL. Anyways, I just looked at a pair that were already made and kinda went from there. Made a makeshift pattern, checked how it was stitched, etc. I also noticed that the stitches on the factory made ones were done with a serger, so it looks like I've gotta learn how to use mine!
Anyways, I've just been told I have three new pairs to make, but the one tank top i have I'm gonna have to make a four piece (?) pattern instead. It shouldn't be too hard.
This was more fun than anything and I know what I have to do when it comes to modifications to make them fit a bit better for my girl. (Well, I mean, how stupid was I thinking that I had cropped enough from the front... Tongue)
Maybe I'll get to making my boxers soon... since she doesn't want to wear Pink Floyd or Marilyn Manson on her ass... Wink

Definitely make friends with your serger.  It makes working with tshirt really easy and awesome.

First off, I cried (seriously I cried) when I lost my Floyd undies.

Second, my fiancee has this shirt. And it is very much dead. I think you just gave me a great idea as to what to do with it...

@iheartcheese -> I plan on downloading a manual for the serger first. Shouldn't be too hard as it's a Singer. Thanks for the encouragement!

@SaralaAnne -> Make sure you ask him if it's ok that you take an old shirt. He may be a little possessive of it. (I know I didn't want to make that first cut, but changed my mind after I saw that the final project almost worked out perfectly.) Also, I'm not happy that I'm not able to do swaps for another month (I'm a newbie.) I'd love to make them into a pair for a lady instead of boxers. They'd be way, waaaay better that way.

@sedrasmom -> Smiley

@jezebel_1982 -> You don't need my creation to make your ass look great! Wink
