A three-sided bag! Saturn, that's so brilliant! And the shell necklace really is beautiful.

I love sealing wax too. I've been working towards making my own (got the recipes, got most of the ingredients) but haven't tried it yet.

Beautiful packages! I love the use of shells.

I just signed up for the Samhain swap. I'll have to skip the card swap this time. I'm still saving my pennies.

Thank you all for your help and good wishes with my finances. It is working a little at a time. One of the great benefits of all the good wishes (a very short story) - Last month we had to pass up on a concert of our favorite band (a country duo called Bomshel) because we didn't believe we could afford it. It was a big disappointment but it seemed the right thing to do. Well, the local country station puts on a big concert in September every year for free. They had 5 bands on the schedule including a new one we'd never heard of. Two days before the concert we got an email saying the new band's lead singer had strep throat. They had called a local favorite band to replace them - Bomshel!! We got to talk to them after the concert and got another autograph. Thank you all so much!!!

Thanks for the compliments! I thought it came together pretty cute. The 3-sided bag is made from a little vogue pattern I've hung onto for over a decade, lol. It's one of those projects that get very addictive to make more of, esp since you can get quite creative with some fabric scraps.

Hey Saturn!  I'm so sorry, I got all crazy busy there, and I didn't get to post my pics yet!  Here they are, because I LOVE everything!!!

Here's the awesome bag...the construction is so neat!

and here I'm trying to show the inside, the triangle bottom...

Next, my new altar cloth!  I have a little table, and this fits on it perfectly!  I totally love all the fabrics, they are so pretty and perfect for fall.

close up of fabric:

Here's my tiny candle holders and shell...these are so cute!  the bottoms are little brass stars!

Check out this sticker!!  I have it on my magnet board...I love that they're drinking tea!

And here's my talisman!  It is totally amazing.  I have no idea how Saturn cut the shell, but it looks really fabulous.  I've been wearing it, and people don't know what it is at first...until they look closely, and then they want to know where I got it!!

Thank you soooo much Saturn!  I really do love everything, and it is all so special!  This was a great swap, and you are a wonderful partner!!!

Well, because holistic knitter can't take and upload pics at the moment, I'll post mine of what I sent to her.

I made a granny square candle holder in autumn colours

I had a lot of fun in the kitchen recently making jams and jellies. I sent her two

And my favourit thing, a cherry stone heat pack with autumn embroidrey on it. It was so hard to let this one go because I really love it!
