Yay!!  I get to start off the gallery!  I just got home from a wonderful day at the lake to find a inconspicuous package full of harvest-y goodies from hawkeyes_girl!!!

Here's a group shot:

And here's some action shots --

First off, the "barefoot sandal" set --

I love these, and the idea that I get to decorate my feet even when I don't wear shoes is fabulous!  Cheesy

Matching necklace --

lol...can you tell I just got back from the lake?  I took three pics and this was the best one.  LOVE the necklace though.  Colors are perfect...brown is perfect for harvest, and just happens to be my favorite color!

Next is this touching and beautiful personal poem.  I absolutely LOVE this.  The triple spiral is my favorite symbol.  Some of the highlights for me are

"To gently speak the truth and know when to be still...To search your heart for what is true Will...To follow the Earth and all her seasons...To think of all your actions and their reasons..."

And... "In Connectedness......freedom"

Beautiful...did you WRITE this HG?  I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!

OK...next up is the potpourri.  Apples, Oranges, Cinnamon, and Cloves...those smells mean Autumn to me!  The apples are so perfect...how did you do this HG?  I attempted...you'll see ( Wink), but your is perfect!

She also included this anklet which came with a note saying "please fix" BUT...I can't find anything to fix!  This has yet to leave my ankle.  What is the stone hawkeyes?

There were also some candles of different colors for rituals and a spiced cider one for Fall goodness.

Thanks sooooooo much hawkeyes_girl!  I can not think of a better way to welcome the holiday!  Your package is on its way to you too...I hope you like it as much as I love mine.

Bonus Shot:

My son wore this around for a while  Tongue

The poem is beautiful and those feet jewelry is an awesome idea!

And the personal one as well. I was thinking of making me some pads like that, and the buttons are so cute!

Aww, I'm just relieved you liked it all......

the anklet is jasper, which promotes healing. After hearing you macrame, I wanted to try a hemp piece, but got very confused how to finish a piece, hence the HELP! note attached!

I cut the apples across the horizontal to show the pentacles, soaked them in a bit of lemon juice and salt, then baked them at about 150-180 degrees overnight (I know, not safe!) recipe says for 6 hrs in a cracked oven. (Prop the door slightly open.)

And yes, after reading the poems you liked (Rede and to be a Witch I think) I decided to write one of my own to give to you that blended the ideas of both! I am secretly very proud of it so I'm glad you liked it. I didn't want to send it framed in case of broken glass.

YAY!!!  (By the way, your pics of my stuff are awesome, I never take photos that well!)

Also, the stones in the necklace are citrine chips and tigereye wood are the main "stones".

Ah...maybe it is the soaking part I messed up...I didn't do that.  or maybe I cut them too thin...a lot (most) of mine burned, and they weren't in there anywhere near 6 hrs.

I am sooo honored to own a copy of your poem!  No worries about a frame.  I have plans to scout out the perfect one!

Such an awesome start to the gallery! I bet it smelled wonderful! I honestly can't wait until the grocery stores start to carry apple cider around here. I'm thinking it's almost time for some mulled cider..yum!

Oh wow! What an amazing beginning to the gallery! The barefoot sandals are such a neat and lovely idea! The potpourri looks like it must smell deliiicious! And perfect for fall! But my favorite is definitely that poem. It is beautiful! I can't believe you wrote that yourself, Hawkeyes - very well done!

P.S. Abbee, your son is absolutely adorable!
