I had a reusable tote bag from Wal-Mart that I didn't like carrying because it was boring.  I used some vintage sheet scraps to make my tote completely personalized!  This is my first crafster post so I hope the picture works.  Just in case...here's a link to a video I made that shows the bag along with a tutorial.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tbk0urWpr_8

Very cute!  Lace is a great way to depict the sea, very creative!

This is super cute; I love that vintage fabric. The whole "Paper or Plastic? ...Neither" slogan kind of wore off on me after the 100th time seeing it. Mind you, I -work- at WM, so I see it all the time.

Simply interesting, love the big whale, and the lace. Just by looking at the photo, gives me an idea to use my passion all the more to make use of recyclable materials around and come up with interesting products others will appreciate. What I am thinking now is a home project that will make use of magazine pages which I gathered for years and make it into something like handmade purses and small magazines clutch I saw online.

Thanks for showing me that link!  I actually have one of those bags; I found it at a thrift store for $3 a little over a year ago.  It's really cool, but I don't think I would ever have the patience to make one myself.
