i have not checked the gallery in a few days and WOW there has been some great stuff posted. love the willow it looks like the one in my yard. the celtic tree must have taken forever. the propaganda quilt is that a painting,drawing,printed? just how  did that get on there? everyone's work is creative and beautiful.

Isn't she amazing to have made that? It's free machine embroidered on - drawn with thread.

Just for reference, here's the original image she used (clickable thumbnail). It's a really famous propaganda poster, and I instantly recognised him.

I made bias tape, then hand appliqued the knots, added borders, machine stippled around the knots and outlined the borders, then machine attached the binding.

That is so lovely and especially love the orange circle knots. Looks so sweet!

That's more patience than I have.

But, the result is beautiful. I love the subtle background.

Thanks.  I was pretty happy with the way the knots came out, having done lots of applique before, but never having done knots.

Yey i received from Loobie    I love it, it is in my favourite colors and  she picked my cubes/squares theme.
Can't wait to hang it up in my front room
