Finally, 8 weeks and counting, through no fault of monkey_girl's or the Chinese post office, but possibly the USPS, my package arrived in California. The zombie gingerbread person already displayed here:

Yay, can't wait until my tree is up in December 2011 and see how many people notice the zombie ornaments hidden amongst the "regular" ones!

And the extras - a little spoilage, as if the postal gods knew I'd be waiting forever and a day:

A craft magazine and a pattern and TONS of fabric. Well, not tons but alot in a little space:

Thanks so much, Trees - it was worth the wait. Well, it was frustrating to wait but you know what I mean.
Thanks, really.

The stuffie I made for Smmarrt as a backup just in case the other didn't arrive. Well. Guess what. My stuffie is the one that got lost! Here is a picture of the little guy.

OF COURSE, this little monster showed up today after TWO WEEKS of freedom in the big, bad city. Heaven only knows what trouble he was up to but there have been some mysterious happenings in San Francisco this past week.

His missing eye? Could that be related to the bar fight and subsequent closing of the bar underneath my apartment building? The striped legs? There was a burglary in the clothing store down the street. And those hang-up phone calls I received every night at 3 AM? Had to be....

(The second paragraph is fiction, in case you were wondering....)

THANKS gerbilgal for my cute little monster!!!
