thanks for the compliments,  everyone!

Striker- Your cardigan is amazing! I love everything about it!

The drops patterns are really confusing, I had to reword this one 3 or 4 times before I felt comfortable casting on! I don't have a plan for an outfit yet, but my wardrobe has similar enough colors that it should be easy to pair it off with a few things.

Thank you!  Grin

I can't wait to see your finished project! Maybe it will inspire me to finally tackle one of the Drops pattern in my queue!

I enjoy seeing the articles shown on here and the beautiful work ya'all are doin'!  My first sock looks like something Robin Hood or Peter Pan would wear...but the pattern worked and I can say I finished one...the next one is started and I am at least a bit more confident to start a new pattern.  Pic coming on Wed of my progress...

Nice work everyone.  (I love the clown barfy looking socks - I bet they are fun to wear in the winter!)

I'm working on a scrappy sampler throw/blanket.  (Just a couple of stitch patterns worked up in 5 by 5 inches.)  I've finished two squares, right now...so 2/12 (or 1/6) of the project done.

Also putting on a few rows of my mother's stupid moss stitch vest.  I swear my wrists hate me because of the weight of the needles.  (I have tiny hands, and I love my bamboo to bits.)

Thanks for the compliment about my clown barf socks: you're right, they will be very cheerful in the wintertime!  You should post a pic of the 2 sample squares in this weeks post!  How are you planning to join the squares? As for your mother's vest, maybe you could invest in a bamboo circular needle to take the weight of the project in your lap and not on your wrists?

Here we are!

What would you suggest for joining them?  Should I learn mattress stitch?  Cheesy

-  I'm probably going to trudge along with the knitting on my mother's project...*sigh*
