So, I have plans to get a Golden Snitch tattoo, instead of what I originally wanted. The original plan was a little ornate oval frame with the phrase from the Mirror of Erised ('Erised Stra Ehru Oyt Ube Cafru Oyt On Wohsi', which backwards reads 'I show not your face, but your heart's desire.')

Since I am not getting the tattoo, I decided to make a necklace instead 8'D

This are some of the bases for the pendant, but I have a small problem--how to inscribe the words without using paper (I want the surface behind the words to be shiny, like a mirror--I'd used polished silver, but yeah, I lack the serious mula that involves.)

These are also very small, somewhat obviously. Does anyone have any suggestions for putting the words on the metal? (Or tinfoil in the case of the 'glass frame' pendants?)

You could use the shiny paper but use a pendant that has a glass piece to go over it. And then you could make a tiny stencil and etch the glass and put the shiny paper behind it, so that the text is over the mirror part.

That would probably be alot of work... But it's probably going to turn out kick ass any way you do it.

you could etch the glass (they sell little kits at michael's or crafty stores) instead of writing directly on the metal Smiley
