08/26/10 - New "Subscribe" page with two FOC Levels and... more icons!

See my fancy pink skull under my username & titles? Well... after what, 5 years? we have some spiffy new FOC icons! yay!

While we were sprucing up the icon section we also cleaned up our FOC Subscription page.  We improved our FOC FAQ and all the latest information about the perks that come along with an FOC subscription. We also now have two FOC subscription levels, standard and fanatic!

All current FOC have been "grandfathered in" to the higher level for the rest of their current FOC term! That means if you're already an FOC you have access to the Fanatic level subscription icons without having to do anything. Whee!  Here's an overview of the new icons.

The 8 new icons are reserved for fanatics only (which all current FOCs are!)

Remember by being an FOC at any level you also get access to FOC-only giveaways and swaps, private boards (including an off-topic board), the ability to spruce up your profile with your favorite projects and the ability to share more about yourself with a bio, favorite music, tv, and movies, crafts your interested in, and more!

So get to changing those icons (if you want, of course). I can't wait to see them all floating around the boards!

Tech had some issues with processing subscriptions after we updated Wednesday night.  They let us know last night that these issues should be corrected today, though.  So sorry about the delay!

Will there be other features in the future that are only available to "fanatics"? Like, fanatics-only boards, contests, that sort of thing?

I'm certainly not against supporting Craftster and I will continue to regardless, but I always find it a little sad when communities are divided into "those who can pay" and "those who cant", so I hope you guys don't go that route. You're doing such a great job keeping this site inclusive and open, thank you for that!!

Thanks for making us all Craftster Fanatics! And, I love all of the new icons! I'm pretty attached to my turtle, so he's a keeper for now
