Ok, I have to apologise for the crappy pictures. But I work so hard on this freaking' skirt, I refuse to not post it on here. lol. It consists of over 200 5x5 squares. I was going to make it like some of the massive floor length ones but that would have taken over 500 squares and I lost my sanity half way through this length... so nope... I just couldn't do it. I now have an amazing respect for all of the people who have made those skirts. SHEW! Here's a shot in some decent lighting. It also shows it's twirly possibilities. lol

Here's me trying to model it. lol

Here's a crappy shot of how twirly and wide the layers go.. I know it's dark.. I'm sorry.

And here's an action shot from my partner!!

All in all I love the skirt. And one day, I will make myself one.... But for the moment. I don't ever want to make another patchwork anything hahaha (ok I lie, I just need a few weeks break is all!)
Thanks for looking!!

YEEESSSS!!!!!! hahaha. They just came here last month! Best concert of my life!!!!!!

And thanks everyone for the comments! If you're new to sewing it's really not that complicated, it just takes a lot of time and patience. I would definitely say give it a try, just be ready to invest some time in it. And I figured the length wasn't too bad either since it's summer and my partner lived a few states south of me so I know it was scorching up here so it had to be down there. I think it all worked out for the best.   Wink Thanks again everyone!!
