I was in the gypsy swap this round and my partner had an amulet bag on her wists, but it was more witchy. I decided to make her one and make it more gypsy! I've never beaded anything before this (unless you count the pony bead projects you do in summer camp when your 12!). I'm rather proud of it. I'll be making myself one soon! It was actually quite easy once I go used to it. I think it took me about 4 or 5 hours of work that took place over a few days.

Does anyone know how to draft your own patterns for these? I tried on a different one. I wanted to make 2 for her, but the pattern I was doing came out all wrong. Is there a program I can use or certain graph paper? Thanks for looking everyone!

Thanks everyone!!
I used a native american craft book I checked out of my local library and this link here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKLw2WwGA-8 for basics. I hope that helps. They're really easy one you get the hang of it. She should have no problem making some!  Cheesy
