Huge color wheel (my first quilt!)

I'm quite proud of this! It's based off of the pattern in Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts, but seeing as I only had access to it for a few days it's not exactly what they say to do. Also, it's huge!



I used different colored threads for the quilting, depending on where the lines were radiating. I also hand-stitched a little circle of fabric and batting to the center to disguise the messy intersection.

This was pretty fun to make, even though I messed up quite a bit and there are many imperfections. Comments welcome!

I think this is... AWESOME! So incredibly cool! I love the varied thread colors. I love the fabrics of the circle. I LOVE this quilt!

Great quilt! And you could use it to figure out color schemes from a distance, or you could drape them against each other. I'm imagining all sorts of quilted origami to see if colors go together.

Maybe I would just have too much fun with a quilt like this.

The colored threads are genius, seriously.  I love the circle in the middle too, that is a wonderful idea!  This is so fantastic.  I'm hitting This Rocks right now!

This is really nice! And I love how the quilting compliments the patchwork with all the spokes going out like little rays...
Is it bound multiple times or are the inner two inner sections borders?
