Tiker, sounds really interesting to me!  I would like to learn to make my own period costumes for interpretation work.  It deals w/ cloting from 1830's to Civil War times near Springfield, IL.  Old Salem Village where Abraham Lincoln lived.  There are classes coming up soon.  Smiley

I also like going to the Renaissance Faires..but haven't made a costume for that...just a skirt for practice.  Do you use patterns or have to draft them yourself??  What state is it that you are studying from, if  I may ask.  Just sounds like something I would really like to sink my teeth into!!
Thanks, for sharing.

I mostly draft patterns myself but also use bought patterns, it depends on what is most convenient at the time...
I study in Sweden unfortunately XD not USA Smiley so no state for me ^^

But i believe that there should be similar educations in USA (in colleges atleast, we have checked it out from my school and i might go there when i graduate Smiley )
