This is fantastic!  I am gearing up to try my first tapestry project and I  know I should start small but am attempting a largish project as a birthday gift. I have a question though: did you carry the 2 strand ALL the way through or did you break thread?
I carried the strand though the face parts, but on the sides where its all pink, I would just drop the black. before I attempt this kind of project again, I'm going to get a magnifying glass! I kept getting lost in the blocks, that was really where I had the hardest time. I can't wait to see your project!

Thanks again for all the fab comments guys! I've never had a project get this many comments, it's a huge confidence boost!

Yay! I'm so glad to see you've posted this as it's own thread!
It deserves awards really! I've added it to my favorite projects by other people, but since I used the pic with my DD in it, I got the automated craftster message. Thought you should know I love it still & my inlaws are amazed!  Wink

It's not locked up...but we're keeping it safe!  Cheesy

DD keeps snagging it anytime I have my work room door unlocked. SHe says, 'it's mine mama...because it's pink! ...and I'm a girl!'
How can I argue with that?  Cheesy I just get it back when she's distracted & hang it back up over a screen I have in the craft room. (It looks so good in there with the poster of Audrey & the wall color to set it off I must say! Now I need cooler weather to enjoy the cozyness!)

I did make a post...in the polymer clay section with added behind the scenes photos of your nativity!  Wink
