I don't know how I have made it this long without buying the pattern and sewing a Colette dress. I guess being a poor college student doesn't allow me to really be able to spend 16 bucks on a pattern but I sucked it up. Their patterns are the best!!  I used the Macaron dress pattern with some black bottomweight fabric for the shell and quilting cotton for the top. It fit perfectly and I didn't have to do any alterations. This pattern had so many cute little details like the pockets that are set in the pleats and the sleeves. The directions were so easy to follow.I can't wait to make more of these!

Very cute! I love that fabric, I have some of it somewhere Smiley The black really sets it off. Oh, and I love your "The Todd" quote too!

Really nicely done!  It's lovely!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

That's a great dress!  I would definitely wear that!  Which pattern did you use?

That's adorable! I actually used that same parasol fabric to make a purse once. I carry it every day.  Grin

Beautiful! I love the color/farbic blocking & just the fabric choices!
I, too suffer from the too poor for independent patters, but may have to go for this one Smiley

I also love this pattern. I have made three of these dresses and want to make at least one more but first I need to make her coat pattern.  Smiley
