This tank has a lot of firsts for me---it's my first finished garment, my first attempt at short rows, and my first self-designed tank top.  The skull is slightly modified from the SnB "Skully" sweater.  And I used the White Lies Designs "shapely tank" as a guide for the bust shaping and neckline 'cause the person I made it for fits into the "big boobalage girl" group  (here's a link---this is a great free pattern!   http://www.whiteliesdesigns.com/patterns/lpullovers/fbc.html)

Please share your thoughts!

Here's the whole shebang---you can't see the texture pattern very well, though...

The color isn't as good in this photo, but you can see the "king charles brocade" texture...working the intarsia and maintaining the pattern made for lots of counting, but it was worth it!  My only regret is that the crossbones don't line up perfectly with the criss-cross of the brocade---c'est la vie, obsessive knitter!

I love it. I have the front of the skully sweater almost done, just waiting for me to finish it before next Xmas... I wish I would have started with a tank top.  Tongue
