This is what I saw when I opened the box, only there were also bits of purple tissue paper wrapping everything and making it more exciting!

I literally squealed when I saw the handwritten letter addressed to "Minathia-Sedai" My husband thought I was nuts. (not that that's different from the rest of the week in any way lol) It's written as if from one sister to another. There are little gifts from my sister's travels. (Seriously about to squee again here. The geek in me just can not get enough of this little bit of role playing.)

My first hand bound book is in here! I haven't decided what will go in here, but you can bet it will be geeky. Smiley

And as if that wasn't enough, the second letter is from the Amyrlin Seat! She sent me angreal to help discover the Black Ajah. They have directions on how to use them and a little bit of what they do and their history. Another bit of roleplaying and creativity that I was NOT expecting and very much love!

The charm bracelets are to signify Mat and Perrin. I <3 those guys way too much, so I'd have to say that's my favorite part. I will be wearing these everywhere!

There are also earrings and matching hair ornaments. They're in my birthstone colors! Very pretty. Smiley

And the necklaces! The blue one is pretty, but I've been wanting a tree of life pendant for a long time. What a win there!

I almost forgot to take pictures of what was in the little bags! Some dice for Mat, with the Dark One's Eye on them instead of a single pip. I would use these while gaming if I could convince my DM that they weren't weighted improperly. I'll give it a shot. Cheesy Lastly some bookmarks. These are great. They symbolize each of our favorite boys, and that dragon charm is just the right amount of Rand for me. Enough that you remember he's there, but not so much that he starts to get annoying. Grin

So yes. I'm totally spoiled. I really love that my partner and I had different skills. I think that really adds good things to a swap. Smiley

Thank you thank you thank you! Know that everything has come to a good home and will be loved. Smiley

Hahaha so I got in so much trouble taking these photos, I spilt my apple juice all over the kitchen table, chairs and floor and my sisters cat. My mum was not happy! Luckily I did not spill it on my beautiful new craftiness Smiley So here we go, first a beautiful envelope and card from Minathia

Two amazing bookmarks for the two books left:
Again, let me say, I want to crochet!

Also, I'm an English Literature Major so these guys will be getting a work out!

My bag that I will be taking to uni every day! It has cute little pockets inside to hold my nicknacks but I forgot to take pics of that

Close up!

And finally, my new beautiful shawl that I will be wearing with a black dress [not the one in the pic, I stole that from my sister Smiley ] to my cousins wedding in a few weeks, which I'm really hoping will be warm! It's so good, it fits perfectly!

Dodgy mirror shot that I forgot to rotate, but you get the idea Smiley

And another close up, this material is seriously amazing, it's so detailed!

The green ajah are going to be so jealous of my new shawl!!! Thank you Minathia, I love everything!!!!!!!

Our shoulder measurements ended up being almost the same, so I kept trying it on. It was hard to give up though! I'm sooo flattered that you're going to wear it to a wedding! It's the first thing I've sewn that isn't a bag or home decor, so I was nervous about it. I knew right away I was going to make someone a shawl when I signed up for this swap. Thank goodness for online tutorials!!

We were well matched indeed, with both of us loving our gifts. Smiley

Nice packages you two! I love that you got dice, minathia, and that book looks pretty, do you have any closer shots?

How Lovely, that shawl is beautiful! The way it ripples along the edges reminds me of wings.

Wow great job both of you!

The book looks really neat and the jewelry bits are really pretty.

And the shawl looks really amazing, so fluttery and light Smiley

I'm glad you both got your packages!
Thanks everyone for making this a pretty easy swap to organize!

I guess I'll leave this thread in the gallery section for a few days and the move it to the "all the way over" section.

So sad it's over, it was really fun to see what everyone would come up with Smiley Maybe there will be another one sometime.... Grin
