beautiful! do you use a preformed hat or a cardboard base? sorry if that sounds uninformed. probably because I've never made a hat before.  Roll Eyes  Cheesy

Not uninformed, don't worry.

I make each hat from scratch. I use buckram and millinery wire to form the shapes, then cover with fabric. Its time consuming, but very worth it.

I agree--it's beautiful!  I really love the fabric choice.  I also really like the way you dolled up a boring styrofoam head!
