Well, this is my first post about crafts for home... Here you have a couple of cushions I've made for my new white sofa. I wanted to have a black sofa at my new home, but there was a great offer at the Ikea store and we finally bought it white. I thought the sofa didn't completely match with all our black furniture, so I decided to make some black & white cushions with one of my favorite materials: vinyl.

So here you have: one is black and white vinyl, and I added buckles in the middle (it looks as if it was a corset or something like that Tongue), and the other one is vinyl covered by black net fabric.

Detail of the buckles:

It took me a lot of time to sew this small pieces of vinyl for the buckles, but I think they look great Smiley

Thanks for looking, comments are welcome! Cheesy

Wow!  I would never have thought to make pillows out of vinyl!  They certainly don't look like very comfy pillows - I can just see myself sticking to them on hot summer days - but they do look so awesome.  Very stylish, very clean and pulled together.  The buckles came out really well!  I'm sure they'll look spectacular next to the white couch and black furniture.

Thank you for your comments!! ^^

I know vinyl is not useful at all if we talk about cushions... but they are made just for decoration. And I love vinyl! Tongue Anyway, the one that it's covered by the net is actually quite comfortable, as you do not feel it as sticky as it seems Smiley

I bought the buckles (they sell them for making bags, shoes, etc.), I sew the stripes of vinyl and added the eyelets with special pliers I found in a hardware store. It was quite difficult to sew that part, as these pieces of vinyl are quite small, but the result deserves all the work Smiley
