Thank you!  Smiley

I was trying to experiment with different types of stitches.  I like how it cam out and wouldn't mind incorporating it into some of my sewing projects.

I only x-stitch, I don't embroider. This was the first thing I did:

Hah!! Cross-stitch not found  Wink

At first I was like... it's an X... in some boxes... how random. But then I saw it from a distance and I got it immediately. Cheesy Cheesy

I wish I had a picture of the cross stitch I made as a child, for my school quilt (I knew how to cross-stitch before I made it, but it's the first project I actually remember). I'm actually sending out a message on my Facebook to see if any of my childhood classmates have any pictures of it so I can share.

I can't wait to make my first embroidery!!  It will probably be of one of my boyfriend's doodles... they inspire me.

I love the elephant! Stitching on patterned fabric is my latest best thing ever.

Why, she wants to know, are women so susceptible to the fantasies of romance they encounter in novels? Maybe it is because the world outside of novels holds so little for a capable intelligent woman.
