RRR Challenge #1 - Duvet drab to Dreamy Daywear

So here it is, my first ever contribution to a Craftster competition!

I made this from a 70's Duvet Cover, lined it with a sheet and the ruffled pink edging around the yoke and faux pockets is from a thrifted shirt, oh and the yoke has pink buttons sewn on each flower for good measure, think I may bead this in its entirety at a later point though to make it a different colour from the rest of the dress, what d'ya think?

I draped the dress and the yoke was a pizza dish as a template, hey don't knock it, it totally worked lol

It looks super cute on but due to the forest fires in BC affecting our air quality here in sunny Edmonton I can't get better photos outside (it's hazy, smokey and smells like a bonfire outside yeeeuuuccchhh)

Anyway, hope you like and would love to hear comments, suggestions ... maybe not criticism though hey lol

I know right, I love this pattern so much I've made two dresses out of it (will have to post the other on here soon) and used the leftover fabric from the first dress to make everything from coin purses to cluches.

I happened upon its sister bedding set which is all pink, Delish!

That's lovely! The fabric is so awesome. Hard to believe it was a duvet cover.
