Hi all,

I have a scrapbooking dilemma that I'm hoping you can help me with to actually decide!

I have been told that I have 10days to use my printer credits in Uni or I wont be able to at all and its money not worth loosing... so I have 100credits, enough for 4colour pages (25credits each) or 25 black and white (4 credits each) or a mix...

I thought of creating a scrapbook for my boyfriend which will double up as a scrapbook at our wedding (I have a long time till that don't worry!  Grin) So I'm looking for a fun/not to romantic scrapbook that will be fun for others to look at and not just us.

I have written a fun poem for the first page about how we met and why we were friends for so long before getiing together etc for a 12x12 scrapbook so theres no restriction on size of photos etc that will fit (I have a large collection due to being a camera fanatic...)

What I need to decide is how to lay it out!? Should I print it off as a whole or in blocks?? I have no idea what to do as its a first page and hopefully one people will remember?

   Thanks in advance!

I'd print it off onto some nice paper probably, and then put in blocks?
well..as I see it
there's two ways, have a base cardstock, then mount it onto some paper (with the paper you printed it on being pretty too, and in a nice font) and then having a very square layout, maybe some flowers or things, but the title etc would look good all very square,
but then maybe some flowers or stars in a kinda..rule of 3 kinda way?
Or do pretty much the same and have it in verses..

like..this is just my opinion, it's just i think that the poem would need to be mounted to grab attention..
Sorry if this doesnt help >.<
either way it'd look good. Unless there's a lot of long lines, I'd go for the all in one mounting Smiley

Thanks Punkyflossy! You really helped so I thought I would show you how far I have got! (as you can see I havent glued the last verse in place as I got a little excited about sharing it.)

I was thinking about what you said about grabbing attention, and thought that a good way to make something as small as a few words on a giant bit of paper to stand out was to make them a different colour to the background, something which contrasted and was out of the ordinary... So I went for white text on a black background!

I thought a few small photos around would look nice and not over powering and mean more to us two then anyone else while not being boring to look at (The small one in the top left is a mineral down a microscope...)

Please let me know what you think!!
