What a happy snail.   Grin  I too miss my sewing machine when I'm away from it(don't tell my children and husband) so I've begun embroidery and cross stitch.

Job well done.

He is adorable! I love all of the happy colors and patterns on his shell, and his smile is so sweet!
I find hand embroidery so calming, and the portability makes it an awesome craft for hot weather (my sewing stuff is upstairs where it's crazy hot).

Did you use 6 strands for the whole piece?

This is so cute! I just discovered how much fun embroidery is. I might be posting a work in progress soon, but it's not half as cool as this.

So cute! I love snails! My friends think it is gross that I pick them up and let them crawl on my hand.
