I went on vacation for 3 weeks this summer, and although I LOVE vacation, I miss my sewing machine.  I have a really hard time not having a project to do, so I decided that embroidery would be easy to pack and take.  Ive done a little embroidery here and there, but have never really considered myself  very good at it.

Here is one of the projects I did on vacation....

a happy little snail.....(measures about 2"x 3")

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.....

Thanks for looking..... any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.....

Awww . . .he's so cute Cheesy  I think you did a great job on him and I love how bright he is!  I usually have some small cross stitch project in my bag as a go-to portable project.  I've whiled away many hours in doctor's office waiting rooms stitching away.  I may have to try some embroidery now!
