I love absolutely everything about this quilt!

Thank you all for your kind words about my quilt. I have to confess I'm insanely fond of it. Someone else told me it looks perfect for a teenaged boy but it's mine, all mine!   Cheesy  I've been making so many quilts for gifts, charity, and for sale that I haven't made one just for us in a couple of years so this one is going to live with us.

I'm sure everyone loves that Michael Miller fabric, because it is just so awesome, but the quilt pattern is so great too. I love quilts that are outside the usual. Great job! The guitar fabric also fits great with the quilt pattern.

I love your fabric choices in this quilt!  I like Oh, Fransson's patterns, but sometimes it seems like everything she makes is a little bit too white & pastel.  I really dig the black, lime, and teal combo.  Also, your choice to quilt diamonds was brilliant!

Thanks. I thought the same thing. I added this to the flickr group of things made with Oh Fransson patterns and in 38 pages with dozens of New Wave quilts, not one besides mine has black (or any dark bold color for that matter) as the sashing.

Her stuff is sweet and pretty and looks like it jumped out of the Pottery Barn catalog. There's nothing at all wrong with that; I think it's lovely. But quilts don't always have to be sweet and pretty. They can also come up and punch you right in the face.

Absolutely stunning quilt.  The fabrics suit the style well - Michael Miller fabrics have always been some of my favourites.  A treasure to view.
