This is a Structo Artcraft Loom I bought yesterday on Craigslist.

I've heard about these and now I have one. Now I have to find out how to weave on it.

It has the number 600-15660 written on it.

Another adventure.

I think I am missing handles for the beams. It's about 20 inch wide inside the harnesses.

Now I can do 4 harness weaving.

Just had to share.
Have a good day!

That is a pretty loom! I can't wait to see what you make on it, once you get the handles thing sorted out.

I'm a new weaver, and I hope to get a 4 harness loom someday. I'm not at all familiar with these looms or how they work, but could you attach a wrench where the handle is missing until you find a suitable handle? Would that enable you to turn the beams and warp it?

I know you will make great patterned weaves with this, but could you also weave a rug on this type of loom? I have a rag rug craftalong going (make any kind of rug you like), if you'd like to join us with a project sometime. You are one of my favorite Craftsters, especially after you posted about your cardboard Charkha. Smiley

That looks like a sturdy loom, and if it can handle making rugs, I might start looking around for one once I'm not broke anymore.

Happy weaving!

Smiley  I think that is the same loom I inherited from my mother who inherited it from her great great aunt.

Good luck with it!  I wouldn't recommend a rug on it.  But it is fantastic for pretty much everything else.  I love love love mine.  It is a fantastic loom.
Good luck finding the beam handles.

Ah Lovely! It's such an adorable loom! I hope you enjoy it Cheesy

My parents bought me a Structo table loom for Christmas, that looks quite similar, just with a darker wood stain! I just finished cleaning it off.
