Couple o' shirts - Including my first corset!

I've almost reached insanity! My boyfriend has been working hard on the other side of the state for a few weeks, And I've been so bored and lonely without him. the first couple of days were pretty bad.. I became lazy and watched doctor who all day... accompanied by a gallon of icecream and chocolate.
Well, The wonderful beau came back for an evening to surprise me, And I felt so bad that he was working hard painting and I was just being a lazy mope. So the past few days or so I've been working on a few new outfits (now that he's making a little extra cash we can actually go out... and now I have a reason to get dressed up! lol)

I received a giant bottle of grommet thingies from my grandma a few weeks  back, so i decided it's finally time for me to take a stab at making a corset ( my SO Loves them on me (: )
I'm not entire pleased with the outcome. I need more practice at getting the right shapes an measurements, but I'll get it eventually.
The wrinkles by the hips aren't usually there, but I'm all bloated and yucky right now, it's not fitting like it usually would any other time of the month. lol






And a flowy flowery shirt to take on vacation next week! (: This was pretty easy to make. I took a giant rectangle, folded it in half, sewed up the side halfway (the open part is the arm part) Cut the teardrop out for the neck, and added and simple waistband. Only took like 15 min to cut and make.

Lulz, Doctor Who is ALWAYS accompanied by a gallon of ice cream. Whenever I watch that show I'm either in tears or snacking, mostly tears though.

Anyway love the corset very cute and simple looking. Some corsets get a little over done for my taste.
