CLOSED: Granny-A-Day SEPT - starting 9/1 - 9/30/2010

So I'm making progress (and it feels good though with school and everything I still feel crunched for my deadline of November 13th, o.O") Today I made 4 Granny Squares (maybe I'll make more) and finished off my grey skein with 35 squares (I could probably squeeze another one, but I dont want to get halfway done with it just to take it apart,  )

Everyone's is looking good so far- keep it up!

The Russian joining method helps a lot!!!! I have no ends to worry about as I work. I have started with all my tiny scraps and will go to the bigger balls as my square grows. When this is done it will go on the back of the couch for those cold days. My DH doesn't think it's ugly with all the colors we will see when it's all done.

Sundaybrunch- I love your color choice. They are really pretty together.

I have about 20 granny squares done so far. They are however only 2 1/2 inch squares lol.

Looks good mommycrochets - I agree with your DH that it doesn't look ugly, far from it. I love the pink/black and blue/orange next to each other.

I re-counted my squares (I'd missed one) and finished another one yesterday so I have 10 now. Only 3 more to make the bag and so I will definitely have enough green, yay! I'm not going to follow the Inga bag joining instructions because I want a more flattish shape.

So far all I have done today is join yarn to make a big ball so I don't have to do it at the end of every color, almost done with this batch then I can start crocheting again.

WoW!!  Look at all the progress, posting and pics on here!!  Great inspiration, everyone!  I love the colors, too, SundayBrunch!  And the scrappy granny square will be purtty!!    That's the fun w/grannies...play w/color and use up the odd lots!  I got to put away several partial skeins today as I am finished w/them for my cabin-ghan!!! WhOOt!  Just three rows left to go and I will have a pic to post!  Finished!  I also had to go scrounging for some claret/burgundy yarn to finish one square and came across last years granny project...I've taken a pic and will post it as well.  One down and another to go...yikes! 

Mommycrochets...I saw the shawls that you posted for last months projects and they are very pretty...so nice to have one for the little one, too!  Thanks for sharing!

Hah, 2 (pokemon card) tins. I'm around 85 squares. I'm still doing 4-5 every day so thats good.

Oh and i would love to see that box Kate.
