It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezes are cool.

Hello all! Long time no post! I finally remember to take some pics of my items to share  Smiley

So, I love Doctor Who...against my will. My brother made me watch the premier of season 5 despite the fact that I always made fun of the show previously and instantly I was hooked. I watched the other four seasons in a matter of weeks and on my recent birthday I demanded a doctor who shirt (with my favorite line - It's a fez, I wear a fez now. Fezzes are cool. Sadly it shrank and is unwearable but it will be a pillow). So when I decided to start doing some polymer clay stuff, naturally I went with Doctor Who related items.

First, the converse shoes. I actually did these before I became an addict of Doctor Who but it fits  Cheesy   My friend Sarah was getting married and I was a bridesmaid. She didn't have a cake topper but talked about how she and her fiance were planning on wearing their chucks at the wedding. She always wear red ones and him black. For her birthday I decided to attempt making them for her (one red and one black), thinking if she liked them they could be a wedding cake topper. She adored them and I was impressed with myself (I hardly ever like what I make). It the first object/model I've ever made (I've only done canes/beads before)

The pics are awful, I apologize. The converse all star symbol is on the side of each. The back even said ALL*STAR. And the bottoms were tan with a similiar rubber sole pattern (if that makes sense). The laces were ribbon.

And the Dalek I made. I'm not happy with the "egg beater" part, as I call it. And the round circles/bumps I think are a little too large in comparison (I was distracted watching True Blood when I made those, lol). But for my second time, I was happy! Again, bad pics.

Any good? Or am I delusional? Tongue
