hey-as parft of the questionaire maybe you can add the question "what kind of jewelry do you like to make?" cuz im thinking about joining and ive been dying to make some sweet lolita jewelry-or some mixed media ones. id love a partner who is into that-ive been experimenting with how to make realistic faux cookies that would look adorable on a glass pearl necklace or pink chain

Sent my info. It's been a while since I did a swap and this seemed like just the right swap to get back in the game. I agree with the question about what everyone likes to make. As for me, I do alot of work with felt and mixed media. I also do resin. I wish I had the talent to make tiny clay things that look like food. I got ice cream sandwich earrings in a swap and I always get compliments on them and always have to admit that I didn't make them.  I am excited about this swap!!!

I am still considering joining up, but following along to stay up on the discussion.  I am new to jewelry making, and LOVE to work with all kinds of media.  I like the traditional beads, I've done some shrinky charm ones, and am wanting to try out poly clay mini charms.  I've worked with PC in bigger objects, but tiny food is awesome.  I guess that is from my felt food love.  lol

I wouldn't call jewellery making my MAIN craft, but there's a lot of jewellery this-and-that that I have done. In the past, I've made (and been not too bad at): hemp jewellery, shrinky charms & pendants, resin pendants/rings/earrings, charm bracelets, wire-wrapping (I did sea glass only), a bit of your basic jewellery construction, and anything salvaged. I also have all the materials for scrabble tile pendants and microscope slide pendants (including a soldering gun!), but I haven't tried them yet.

.... And wow, I had no idea I'd tried so many different types of jewellery making!

I like seeing what everyone else likes to make. I enjoy making new stuff from repurposed vintage/salvaged items. I also like to do resin, steampunk, antique, and victorian styles, especially repurposing old watches and watch parts. I've done a few things with polymer clay and I'd love to do some more. I recently bought some wire wrapping tools on clearance and would love the opportunity to try those things out. I've also done some work with leather lately and would like to experiment some more with that. Overall making jewelry is my favorite craft (judging by the fact that my jewelry supplies make up 75% of my ridiculously large craft stash) and I can't wait for this swap!
