Here are a few skirt bags I just finished.  The best part of it is now when I find a too cute but too small thrift store skirt, I don't have to be upset if it is too small to wear - purses are always just the right size.

I only sewed the lining closed.  It was pink, with a lace trim on the bottom - so when you flop the purse, the skirt flies up a bit, and it's like your skirt flashing someone it's underwear.
