I made this anorak from fabric supposed for drapes and a burda pattern (from the magazine) that I altered (hood, epaulets, cuffs) . I did a lot of details but at least the pattern is way to irritating to notice them*sigh* It causes a lot of attention when I wear it on the street, there are even people who try to take pics with their phones secretly. It is weird.

Here is a closer look at the front closure. If you try really hard you can see the buttons.

here is the inside closure: huge snaps

a back view

I also covered the buttons with the fabric because I couldnt find any matching ones

Here are the lower front pockets with an extra zipper compartment

and the epaulets

my poor attempt at cuffs

and the lining made from an old bed sheet

I still have to waterproof it because it soaks rain like a sponge!
How do you like it?

I am collecting any kind of skull shaped beads and patches-feel free to send me spare ones  ;-)

Well done with the details, they're really good! I also think the fabric is totally funky:-) They're only taking photos because it looks so unique, don't worry!

That's pretty cool...kinda funny to hear about people sneaking pics...it's just means that it's a really interesting piece and therefore a major success Smiley
Nice work!

Love the day!

That's so awesome! Reminds me of those "Can you find the 3 people in this scene" things, where they're hiding behind bushes, lying down. Tongue
