These are from a swap that ended a little while ago so I am posting them now.
I took a plain white t, cut off the arms and neck then cut the seam on the shoulders, twisted the straps then re-sewed them together. Then in the bottom corner I wrote a quote from twilight:
"Fire and ice, somehow existing together without destroying each other" -B.C.
Then here is the back:
I wish I could take credit for these wings but I can't, they are from Google images. I printed them on a transfer sheet and ironed them on. I was planning on painting/drawing but I got lazy and was running out of time.
This is the front of the t-shirt all folded nicely. Due to an OCD from working in retail for the better part of three years.
The back of the DQ shirt. I cut off the sleeves, neckline, and cutout from the shoulder. Then twisted the back to become a racerback t-shirt. I wasn't completely satisfied with the back so I created this next shirt, which I am in love with.
I made this awesome scarf from two XL t-shirts that I was really sad to see go. It was so long and versatile, guess I will have to make another one.
This pillow was a no-sew project. I cut strips to tie it all together, but once I got the the fourth side, I turned the pillow inside out so all the knots were on the inside. Then I continued tying but tucked the pieces inside. Gave it a much cleaner look
I made these super-duper easy leg warmers. I found a hot pink long sleeved henley that was a ribbed material. Since the arm is tapered I turned the sleeve inside out then started sewing straight down. They turned out awesome and stay up on the leg since top of the leg warmer is the end of the sleeve, that won't stretch out.
Hoped you like them. C&C welcome.
