I've made a few little animals out of felt for my nieces--owls, a penguin, that sort of thing.

My youngest niece, Tori, is 10 months old and I call her Tortoise. So, naturally, I would like to make her a tortoise out of felt Cheesy

But I've been digging around the internet for a while, and looked through the patterns here on Craftster (including the list in this board) and haven't found a pattern yet, or anything to use as a jumping off point to freehand one.

Any suggestions? Anybody know of a pattern I've missed somewhere?
