Meh, since bringing up a possibility of me investing in a sewing machine I've been going crazy trying to find the perfect one! Haha. Does anyone here have any recomendations? Recomendations for cheaper machines= better.(I've mostly been hearing things about Brother and Janome)

Anywho, I'm trying to finish up on the tank girl swap before I finish up on this! Since the send out date is almost here and I still have two things to make and one very large to finish! Only have one, maybe two more things to do to finish this swap though:)
Has anyone sent yet?

It looks like RhymeswOrange has maybe sent?  You might consider looking into a used machine. I was at my local pawn shop the other day and saw some really nice ones for less than 1/2 what you would pay new. If you do just make sure to try it out in the store.

Yea, my grandma got me a used sewing machine, and i've had it for YEARS. And I've never been able to figure out how to use it. I'm pretty sure somethings missing from it. I can use my grandmas perfectly (I just choose not to, because she nags and gets stressed out when I take it down- what a waste of sewing machine life Sad ) but not this one. I've seen A LOT of pretty cheap new one's- so I was shooting for just a nice cheap new one, so I can get the manual and guide and everything with it.

My mom's sewing machine is ancient... I think she's had it since the 70s. I can't sew to save my life (well, beyond joining crochet parts together) so no help from me!

Also, I'm slowly getting there, I'm about halfway done with a medium/large (we'll see how the rest goes) and I have an idea for a little extra that I'm going to make today. Then the sewing machine comes out for a few minutes to make the small and I should be done this week!

Boo...I won't be able to send until exactly on the 7th or possibly after. I had to order something that decided to take days and days to get here, so my package will probably be the last one standing. Stinky latey latey late pants. Just wanted to let everybody now...that UPS has officially forced me to be the weenie here.

That's ok, we had our basement flood Thursday night and I haven't had time to think about crafting... I'm probably sending right on the date, since I haven't started one thing and another is only like 2/3 done... but I should have more time later this week to finish!

Eurg, I was almost done with the biggest thing but then my grandmas sewing machine ran out of thread. And I'm lazy.. and I just realized a HUGE project for Sociology is due tomorrow and I'm nowhere near done.. and a friend is already on her way to pick me up for a sleepover. Guess who's not going to school tomorrow and going to spend all day at the library doing work I should've done weeks ago?

Then i'll finish up this item tuesday and everything else. But I will defiantly not be doing as many swaps anymore... I feel like a failure.
