This is the first time I have ever made something like this crocheting. You all have inspired me!  I made it for my Godson to be. I also made it almost all one piece, the only thing I had to do was reattach the yarn with the start of the second leg.(just to note I did not use a pattern because they make no sense to me.) Let me know what you think. I am pretty darn proud of myself!

NOt sure about putting a face on this because the child is an infant and don't want any choking hazards. any suggestions?

as you can see I did the face, not the best but it will do

Cute! It made such a neat patten with the yarn!

My suggestion for making a face would be embroidery. You could satin stich eyes, nose and then make a smile.
