A few weeks back I went to a How to Work with Latex workshop - and we made actual garments! So exciting!

My first seam is not so great, but the next one is fine. Latex is so easy to work with, I couldnt believe it.

(my skirt looks high on one side because i'm standing funny)

Shiny!

Congrats to you! I'm too intimidated to give latex a shot. The skirt looks fab.

Loving the latex! I can't believe that it's easy to work with, it intimidates me like no other. Looks fantastic.

You look amazing! Great job on the skirt. I really want to try latex, is there anything special I should know about working with it before giving it a try?

Some hints?
- dont ever sew it! Holes are not your friend. You need to use special glue (in Australia its called Art Cement) and clean the seams with Shellite before glueing them. Try not to get air bubbles in the seams as this causes weakness and you might have a 'blow out' hehe.
- take off a few inches of ease, as latex is meant to stretch

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

The workshop was run by UberServices in Sydney Wink. I recommend it!
