Just quickly sharing my favourite skirt - I used New Look 6750, but just the skirt piece of the dress. The straps cross over the back, and its made from black stretch bengaline. There are two decorative black buttons on the front straps.

I think more versions are in the pipeline, its perfect for swing dancing!

I LOVE this! You did a beautiful job. I'm definitely going to look for that pattern. I wear high-waisted skirts almost every day! I really like the addition of the straps too... in fact, the whole outfit is just the cat's pajamas.  Cheesy

I've been wanting to make one of these!  Was the pattern a good fit or did you have to fiddle with it much?  It looks beautiful, though I wish you'd given us a back shot to see the straps more  Smiley
