Beaded flower bracelet (first bead project!)

This is my first serious attempt at a beaded piece of jewelry . . . well, besides just stringing one long strand of beads and tying it into a circle. Made with purple and clear seed beads, silver spacers, and 28 gauge wire.

I found a tutorial on the internet about how to make them. Not too bad for a first project, I don't think.

Thank you for all the lovely comments. It's pretty and girly, I love it. (Even though the flash on my camera makes my arms look hairy . . . gross. )

It's really lovely.  Thanks for the bead tutorial.  I'm really a newbie at beading....so, what did you use/make to connect the purple beads? And what is the clasp?  See?  Really new at beading!

I'm not sure what you mean by connect them - all I used was the 28g wire. It's supposed to be done in two strands, so I cut a super-long piece of wire, folded it over the hoop end of the clasp, then wrapped it around the clasp at the end.

I used a spring ring (one of these: http://www.shopwiki.com/Spring+Ring+Clasp ), which in retrospect was not the smartest thing. I can't put the bracelet on myself, I have to have someone help me. It looks cute though.
