I'm trying to actually post my project lately. I tend to make things a lot, but posting them always slips my mind.

So, I made the garlic bulb from Amigurumi Knits by Hansi Singh for my mother. She likes it, but I wish I had fixed it a little on the inside to make it turn out as less of a flat shap. I loooove its little garlic hairs.

And, a cup cozy! The cables are made to look like owls. I'm not sure if embroidering on the eyes worked better than using plastic ones, but I really didn't like the googly eyes the pattern called for. I also added feet. I made it from a pattern online, found here; http://myknittingbasket.blogspot.com/2009/11/owl-coffee-cup-cozie.html

It also makes a sweet wristband.

Sorry, I take my photos with my dsi, so they aren't the best quality. At least you can KINDA tell they're supposed to be owls, right? xD

The cup cozy is simply amazing. Don't get me wrong, the garlic is awesome, too. I'm just obsessed with owls. Wink I may have to try it.. And the idea for using it as a wristband is so smart.

I really like both of them, how creative! And cute!
I'd put a cute face on the garlic though, but thats just me.. I'd do an entire series (if I knew how!) with different faces..
