I made this zombie chicken for beth8144 in the IYP 16 unicorn zombie apocalypse...she received today, so I can post.  Wink

I was going for an eclectic mix of peacock colors, Victorian styling and Gibbous details. I also had way too much fun with my new darning-foot...the stylized feather motif is repeated on the corset, the hem of the skirt and the top of the bustle. The bustle and, to a lesser extent, the slippers are decked out in free-motion quilting over satin, chiffon, organza and lace. Most of the lace is vintage, some of the black lace is Chantilly lace (it's cool 'cause The Big Bopper says it is  Cheesy ). The zombie chicken is made from white alova suede and my own pile of flesh. She's about 19.5 inches tall with hair.

(No hair so you can see all of the back.)

This last one is the process of dressing her.

Comments and questions welcome. Thanks for looking!  Kiss

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

She is just fantastically beautiful! All the details of her clothing are ghoulish, but I'm particularly taken with her face and hair. I just wondered, how exactly did you make her hair?
