I love the lacy trim on this one! And - wow - polkadots galore! I think they're lots of fun. Not that I did polkadots, though! Can't wait to see what else is posted. Smiley

Hey everyone!

I just got my package from MarieC, and it was filled with so much apron-y joy! We decided to exchange two aprons, but she made one of them reversible, so it's technically three aprons! The reversible apron has a haltered top and full skirt, with pockets on both sides that fit a beer bottle quite comfortably:

(Pretty orange and turquoise fabric for some tropical flava')

and...

(Purple and green fabric with various vegetables and contrasting fabric on the pocket)

And the second apron is more of a tool belt for craft supplies! In fact, it has a money, cell phone, and ID pocket and key toggle on it, so I can pretty much just wear it when I go out. Going-out aprons are going to be the next big thing.  Cheesy

Marie, you are a rockin' craft partner! I've got yours all ready to send, and hopefully you like what I've come up with. Thanks for everything!!

I quite like the idea of a going out apron - what a cool idea! I hate carrying handbags and love hiding my gear in my clothes but never thought to do it with an apron

Woot!  Glad you like them both (all), they were super fun to make.  Also glad the black, white, and grey color palette seems to work with what you were wearing.  Smiley

I just thought I should have added a scissor leash.  That's what I have to have when I sew - a long ribbon or scrap of fabric that connects my person to my scissors.  Otherwise I somehow manage to lose them mid-project in the Super Fund site that is my craft room.

I miss the days of giant pockets in my pants when I went out Sad
Also, going-out aprons too...

I guess, sometimes I miss the practicality of raver clothing more than anything (LULZ!)

I love the reversible apron so much! But all of them are so pretty.

Yeah, she did a great job! I am wearing the orange one now to make breakfast. This is such a fun swap... when is round 3?  Wink

Whoa- you just blew my mind with that scissor leash idea. I will just tie it to the key toggle! You are a genius-- I am always misplacing scissors, even right after I put them down.

Looking forward to seeing what everybody gets!
