My first attempt at a mural, all was done freehand.  I'm doing a woodland-themed nursery for my little girl.  This was step one Smiley

thanks! Smiley I would definitely attempt another mural again, it was fun to have such a big canvas to work on.

I'm doing a woodland-themed nursery for my son.  It's great to see what can be done with this theme.  There's so many ways to go with it!

Love the woodland theme. And you did such a lovely job.  Smiley

I kind of want one for myself ... but, then, I wonder what my dating prospects would be like if I entertained in a woodland themed bedroom.

It looks great and I love the woodland theme idea.  When I have a kiddo, I think I want to paint a Narnia-themed room! Cheesy

I have a few skeins of Caron Simply Soft I would love to supply swap with anyone for other types of yarn, I am finding the yarn a tad hard to work with.

Oh, wow.  It's funny that I should stumble upon this now.  I just started a wall in my baby boy's room with the same idea in mind.  I'm doing a woodland/nature theme and birch happens to be our family name so I thought it would be appropriate.  Your mural looks great.  I can only hope mine turns out so nice.  I'm really afraid of ruining the wall by screwing it up somehow.
