I'm going to be done with this swap before I even have a partner, which is funny.  Really, what I think I am doing is giving myself an excuse to make *me* a bunch of stuff.  Cause, I reckon, I get to keep all the stuff I made that doesn't suit my partners taste.

I'm doing the same thing! I have so many ideas floating around my head that I'll probably just start crafting them. And whatever doesn't fit the partner I get, I'll just keep. Not like I can have too many tentacled items!

lol, I too am a head of myself. I went out and purchased some supplies I don't know if I can hold off crafting untill partners are asigned, lol!

This really would be a perfect first time swap.  No matter what your medium is, you can make a Cephelapod. I'm making it a point to make one out of all my favorite mediums; polymer, fabric, embroidery, and paint.  If it helps, I like to partner up first time swappers together, I think it helps with First Time Swapper Jitters.

I've been itching to join a swap, I've basically just been lurking for over a year. But this is definately a swap I could stick to and PROBABLY go overboard on. My love for the cephalopods is so great.

I had been talking about my love of squid and octopi at work the night before this swap caught my eye, and I just had to join! I've been brain storming on my drives to work and did some squid sketches! Hopefully once I get done with my string of shifts I can do a little craft shopping.

I agree with shadowbox that this is a good first time swap. I haven't done a bunch of swaps (and mostly with other sites) but the VERY FIRST swap I ever did was a Craftster swap. It was a charm bracelet swap which I thought "Well only a charm, not a big deal right". I was sooooo wrong. Crafting isn't so much the hard part, I think, it all depends on your partner and how many you have.

Yeah, my personal stress from swapping always comes from deciding what to make.

what's really annoying is when you have a great inspired idea, and you need one cheap supply to do it, but it's out of stock in the shop I could have made a little jump start today but my own place of work has let me down
