Here is the dress that I drafted, mocked up, and sewed from start to finish. It started with an inspiration from Mad Men.

Here's the the drawing that started it:



On the form:



Finally in person. There are a few things I would change, but it was a learning experience:





This dress cost me around three dollars to make. I had all of the materials except the zipper. The fabric I received for free when I told an Antique store owner I was a fashion design major. I guess it's one of the perks Grin

That's really cute, and I love the pearls.
I don't sew, but a dress like that makes me want to take it up.
