For some odd reason, these days I have been obsessed with headbands. Not to hold hair out of my face, but to keep my ears warm--even though it's more-or-less summer.  Huh  After many fails attempts, I have come up with the solution!!!
A nice not-too-thick-or-thin ear warmer.

Pattern:
Size US 8 (5mm) knitting needles
Worsted weight yarn (I used Lion Brand Wool Ease worsted)

CO 18 sts.
Work in *K1, P1* Repeat across the row.
Continue in rib stitch until 18" or desired length. Graft ends together for a nice seamless headband.
Go out into the snow while keeping your ears warm! (or at least play in the leaves)
Comments and criticism welcome.  Grin
