I hope I'm putting this on the right board. If not, I apologize.

The Hubbs has been after me for a while to find a different, more pleasing way to display my movie ticket stubs. (Actually, he wanted me to throw them away, but I wasn't going to do that.) So, after some brainstorming, this is what I came up with:
  I traced what looked something like a film reel onto silver posterboard, and then onto some corkboard. You can buy it by the roll, I found out. I glued the posterboard to the corkboard, and was left with this: 


And then I did a music note the same way:


And then I used a rolled piece of tape to affix my movie and concert tickets, and this is the end result:
